Despite facing stiff competition from the New York Dragons and Kansas City Broncos, the Commanders were able to emerge as champions thanks to outstanding performances from quarterback Joe Mancuso and rookie running back Aiden Hill. With Mancuso’s superior passing and Hill’s aggressive running style, the Commanders were able to defeat their rivals in all six regular-season games, before claiming the division title with a dominant win over the rival Dragons. This marked the first division championship for the Commanders, and earned them a spot in the playoffs.
