Sir Bobby Charlton is an English footballing legend. Born in 1937, he was a key part of England’s 1966 World Cup winning side and the all-time leading goalscorer for both Manchester United and the England national team. Throughout his career, he won three league titles, one European Cup, and was named European Footballer of the Year in 1966. He was also an MBE in 1974 and knighted in 1994 for his service to the game.
