In 2019, the Dolphins hosted a special game day experience for a mother and son with autism. The two were chosen by Miami Dolphins Senior Director of Community Engagement, Oscar Smith, for the once in a lifetime experience. While at the game, the Dolphins gave them a special tour of the team’s facilities and treated them to a pre-game dinner. The Dolphins also gave the mother and son a personalized jersey and took them on the field during pre-game warm-ups. They were welcomed with open arms and cheered on loudly by the crowd.
