Dmx X Aaliyah was a short-lived musical collaboration between hip-hop legend DMX and Pop/R&B star Aaliyah. The two legendary artists were quickly propelled to the top of the music charts with their duets “Back in One Piece” and “Come Back in One Piece”. The collaboration was the result of a meeting between DMX and Aaliyah, arranged by Aaliyah’s brother. Unfortunately, the collaboration would end abruptly when Aaliyah died in a plane crash shortly after the release of their single. This brief but highly successful foray into the music world of DMX and Aaliyah will be remembered for its memorable songs and powerful performances.
