Ever since I was a little girl, I have always been drawn to the world of movies. The idea of escaping into a different world, even if it was just for a couple of hours, always intrigued me. So when I heard that one of my favourite books, “My Life With The walter boys“, was being turned into a movie, I couldn’t contain my excitement.

And as if that wasn’t enough, I was lucky enough to be a part of the movie’s design team, specifically in charge of creating the iconic walter boys movie design shirt.

As an avid reader, “My Life With The Walter Boys” by Ali Novak quickly became one of my all-time favorite books. The story of a young girl, Jackie, who unexpectedly finds herself living with 12 brothers after a tragic accident, resonated with me in so many ways. I was immediately hooked by the relatable characters, the heartwarming plot, and the powerful message of love and family. And when I found out that it was being adapted into a movie, I was beyond thrilled. I have always been a creative person, constantly doodling and designing in my spare time.

So when I got the opportunity to be a part of the design team for the movie, I jumped at the chance.

I was determined to create a unique and eye-catching design for the Walter Boys movie shirt, one that would capture the essence of the story and the characters. I started by re-reading the book, wanting to immerse myself in the world of the Walter Boys once again.

I wanted to make sure that my design truly reflected the heart and soul of the story. After going through the book multiple times, I came up with a couple of ideas for the shirt design.

I went through countless sketches, exploring different styles and concepts, until I finally settled on one that I believed would do justice to the story. The next step was to present my design to the rest of the team and the producers. I was nervous, but also incredibly excited to share my ideas with them. To my relief, they loved my design and gave me the green light to move forward with it. It was a dream come true to see my vision come to life. As the production of the movie began, I worked closely with the costume department to ensure that the Walter Boys’ shirts were exactly how I had envisioned them. It was a long and challenging process, but seeing the final product on the big screen made it all worth it. The Walter Boys movie design shirt became a huge hit among fans and even started a trend. It was surreal to see people walking around with my design, wearing it proudly as they celebrated their love for the story. It was truly a dream come true, and I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing project. My life with the Walter Boys has been a rollercoaster of emotions, and being a part of the movie’s design team was definitely a highlight.

It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will always hold dear to my heart. And every time I see someone wearing the iconic Walter Boys movie shirt, I am reminded of the incredible journey I was a part of.

• Double-needle sleeve and bottom hems: Double stitching around the edges of the garment makes it long-lasting and durable.
• Ribbed collar: Allows the shirt to stretch as the head enters the t-shirt, afterwards the collar goes back to its original size, leaving a well-fitted tee.
