Weird Val 2 People 1 Cunt is an experimental performance piece by artist Valentina Duque Bojanini. Intended to challenge and disrupt existing social norms, the performance consists of two people entering a dark exhibition space carrying a life-sized paper maché sculpture of a female reproductive organ. As the audience watches in anticipation, the performers proceed to construct and deconstruct the piece – at once celebrating the female body while challenging the traditional patriarchal view of it. Ultimately, the work serves to promote an understanding of beauty and power as something found within all forms, regardless of gender.
