Initially known as the Newton Heath (Lancashire and Yorkshire) Railway Football Club, they initially played their home games on North Road, a pitch close to the railway depot. It was in 1902 that the club changed its name to Manchester United and moved to Old Trafford. They remain there to this day, with a decorated history at both domestic and international level.
